On today’s date, October 20, we reminisce beautiful moments full of energy, as 1 year ago today, a two-day event took place to celebrate the opening of our offices in Maroussi, Athens and the announcement of our cooperation with Nanotech Energy.
The event started with bright smiles and a warm welcome from the General Manager of Smile Energy, Ioannis Bobolas and the President of Nanotech Energy, Dr. Jack Kavanaugh who arrived directly in Athens from Miami, just for strategic meetings, our partnership’s announcement and of course to feel the intense pulse of the energy market people in Greece, Cyprus, Balkans, Middle East and North Africa.
The evenings included the presentation of the companies’ services and products, such as Nanotech Energy’s unique “Non-Flammable Graphene Powered Batteries”. A live broadcast was provided from Nanotech Energy’s headquarters, located in Florida, USA, through which a successful experiment was conducted and provided solid proof of the safety of the graphene batteries manufactured by the company. The applications of this element are numerous and will be a subject of great interest to the international community in the upcoming years.
The event was well attended by many people, partners, customers and important representatives of the energy sector and businesses such as, amongst others, Mrs. Loukia Kefalogianni, vice-regional governor of the northern sector of Athens, Mr. Ioannis Mitropoulos, General Manager of the “Natural Gas Hellenic Energy Company” and other executives of the company, the General Manager of the Ioannina poultry cooperative “PINDOS” Mr. Lazaros Tsakanikas.
